About Moony
The name 'Moony' is the nickname of Remus Lupin, one of the characters from the famous Harry Potter books. This name, for me, has not only got a canine-aspect, but does also refer to a symbol that represents both beauty and mystery, the moon.
In both the books and the films, the character Moony stands for kindness, caring and being good-natured. However, he also represents what happens to people when they are excluded or/and prejudiced against.
